Lots of Smoke, Man Chokes on Steak, More

Here are various reports pulled from the San Juan Capistrano Police Services dispatch log over the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.



On Wednesday at 7:52 p.m. in the 26000 block on Avenida Aeropuerto, a caller reported a man chocking on a piece of steak. By the time Orange County firefighters arrived on the scene, the man was breathing normally again.


On Wednesday at 4:36 p.m. in the 31700 block on Camino Capistrano, a caller complained about the Swallows Inn bar. The caller left the bar because she said it was full of smokers. No further details were reported.


On Wednesday at 3:51 p.m. in the 31900 block on Paseo de Elena, a caller reported  man in his 20s with shaved blonde hair, black shirt and cargo shorts laying down on the sidewalk and smoking. No further details were reported.
