Family Fights, Teens Stealing Freon, and Other Cop Calls

A selection of reports pulled from the Lake Forest Police Services dispatch log.



At 12:44 a.m. Sunday at Monserrat Place, a caller reported neighborhood children shooting each other with BB guns on the front lawn. One child had minor injuries.


At 1:39 a.m. Sunday at Havre Court, a woman reported her husband hitting her head. Orange County Fire Authority was called, but there were no reports of other injuries or any arrests made.


At 1:56 a.m. Sunday on the 22900 block of Aspan Street, a caller reported that his intoxicated landlord holding a baseball bat and threatening to kick everyone out.


At 3:20 a.m. Sunday on Bella Vista, a caller reported that their son was missing from their residence. According to the report, their son had asked to go to a party, but his parents would not let him.


At 3:48 a.m. Sunday at Rockfield Boulevard and El Toro Road, a man was found passed out in a planter near the intersection. Shortly thereafter, a report filed at 4:03 a.m. states that the same man had regained consciousness and was being very combative with personnel from the Orange County Fire Authority.


At 3:49 a.m. Sunday at Trabuco and Peachwood roads, a taxi driver reported an upset 17-year-old girl in a minidress and Hello Kitty slippers running away from her boyfriend.


At 10:12 a.m. Sunday on the 24600 block of Jeronimo Road, a caller reported a woman with dark blonde hair and a peach shirt and running shorts sprinkling powder on the basketball courts and soccer field at Serrano Elementary School.


At 4:14 p.m. Sunday on the 25200 block of Eivon Lane, a caller reported that his wife was smoking methamphetamine. The couple got in a verbal fight and the woman left the residence with a friend in a gray truck.


At 1:39 a.m. Monday on the 26300 block of Grove Circle, a caller reported seeing six teenagers wearing all black clothes and beanies stealing freon from an air conditioning unit. The caller also reported the group attempting to capture the gas in a plastic bag.


At 2:30 a.m. Monday at 23800 block on Mercury Road, a caller reported seeing people throwing eggs at passing vehicles.


At 6:32 p.m. Monday on the 19400 block of Rue De Valore, a caller reported a woman who had wrapped herself around a post. The woman was crying and told several people nearby that someone had hurt her. Personnel from the Orange County Fire Authority arrived, but there were no reports of serious physical injury.


At 10:19 p.m. Monday on the 21100 block of Cranbridge Drive, a caller reported that her ex-boyfriend was allegedly calling her continuously and threatening to kill her. No arrests were made.
