Final performance of "Edge of Glory" is Saturday night in the Titan Gymnasium.

Elvis impersonators, flappers and creepy Twilight Zone dolls entertained a crowd of several hundred Friday night at San Clemente High School's annual dance concert.

"All the dancers put everything they had--their heart and soul--into this," said dance department director Jeane McPhee.

"Edge of Glory" was performed in the high school gym before a packed house of parents, teachers and friends. As the lights dimmed for each number, squeals and random shouts echoed across the room.

"Our dance team is outstanding," said San Clemente resident Kimberly Bivins. "They are so enthusiastic and passionate about it, and you can see it in their dancing."

Student-made dance films served as a backdrop to several of the performances.

"I think the film makes it special because the youth are so technological," said McPhee, adding that she wished the school had its own theater.

The last show is at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
