The final phase of the project is near completion and will start to show signs of traffic relief on Crown Valley Parkway, officials say.

The Crown Valley Parkway Widening project is slated to be finished by the end of March.
"This project allows for four double-left turn lanes on Forbes road," said Director of Public Works David Rogers. "With the completion of phase one, this project's done a great deal of opening the pipeline as you get closer to the freeway. It improves the efficiency of traffic."
The lanes are currently not open, but it is 90 percent complete, said Rogers.
The project, which began construction July 2011, features dedicated right turn lanes to I-5 freeway on-ramps as well as four lanes that will connect through Mission Viejo.
