CRIME REPORTS: Brazen Burglars and Drunk Drivers

Here are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 2:19 a.m., Saturday, a caller reported a dark sport utility vehicle hit another parked unoccupied vehicle on Encino Linda Lane and drove off onto Avenida Palizada towards the freeway. Police arrested the 23 year-old male driver.
At 5:45 a.m., Saturday, a caller reported a two men burglarizing the unit below her where one man lives alone. The informant said she heard a voice, shattered glass and also a person who might be on the roof.
At 10:41 p.m., Saturday, an informant stated a Marine pushed a female down stairs and fled the scene on the 200 block of El Camino Real. The suspect was reportedly 5'9'' 190 pounds and wearing a black plaid shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
At 1:45 a.m., Sunday, a 23 year-old female was arrested for dunk driving when she was found passed out in the driver's seat of a blue Rodeo in a Taco Bell drive-thru off the 900 block of El Camino Real.
At 1:47 a.m., Sunday, a female driving a white Corolla was found under the influence of heroin off of South Cl. Seville and Avenida Granada.
At 3:08 a.m. residents reported a burglary off of 300 block Plaza Estival. The suspect was described as a tall man dressed in a black hooded jacket. The suspect was seen jumping off the roof and into the patio, and the informant knows the residents are not home. The caller's 16-year-old daughter heard thumping and looked outside and saw someone on the roof. Police checked Mira Costa park, but the dispatch log reported no arrest.
At 10:38 a.m., a burglary was reported by a T-Mobile employee who noticed the store to be unlocked when the employee arrived at the store off 400 block Avenida Pico. There were no employees on the scene, and several display items were reported missing.
At 1:34 p.m., Sunday at the 700 block at El Camino Real at the Patriots Motel, a woman sitting in the lobby states that a female transient has locked one of the motel guests out of his room.
At 1:38 p.m., Sunday, a tenant in the senior community allegedly forged a document in order to install a bigger window at his residence at the 200 block of Monte Vista. No loss was reported.
At 3:10 p.m., Sunday, a caller reported a burglary in process off 1000 block of Avenida De La Estrella. The caller said her ex-boyfriend entered her apartment through her back door and stole an outdoor swing. No weapons were reported. The suspect left the house in a white suburban heading southbound on Estrella, the caller said. No arrests were made.
