Callers Reports People Casing Cars in Residential Neighborhoods

A selection of reports pulled from the Lake Forest Police Services dispatch log.



At 12:31 a.m. Tuesday, a bartender reported a verbal fight at a barat Lake Forest Drive and Dimension Drive. A bouncer was having trouble ejecting the people who were fighting.


At 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported that high-school aged subjects in dark, hooded sweatshirts were drunk on the roofof a residence on the 25400 block on Navajo Drive.


At 1:37 a.m. Tuesday, a caller on La Perla reported that two subjects in black, hooded sweatshirts were sitting in a beige sedan while two additional subjects dressed similarly were checking out cars parked in residential driveways.


At 4:18 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported that two men in hooded sweatshirts with baseball caps were looking inside parked cars with flashlights on the 21900 block of Lakeland Avenue.


At 7 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported that mail had been stolen out of a mailbox on Calle Cabrillo.


At 11:37 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a three-car crash at Glen Ranch Road and Portola Parkway, saying that a sports utility vehicle reportedly ran a red light. There were no reports of serious injuries.
